Today's Message from Morris and Theresa Cerullo…

SET THEM FREE!

As a member of God's Victorious Army, you have been told that God wants you to "set the prisoners free." In fact, He has given you power through His spirit to "Proclaim liberty to the captives, And the opening of the prison to those who are bound..." (Isaiah 61:1, NKJV). Your question tonight may be, "Who are the prisoners and how do I set them free?"

E. Stanley Jones once said, "...man is his own worst enemy. He allows into his life alien things for which he is not made." The prisoners God refers to are those bound by "alien" spiritual forces. Some are captive to anger, fear or bitterness. Others are bound by lust, greed, deception, sickness or doubt.

Who are the "prisoners" in your life? Once you spot them, ask the Lord to reveal what chains are binding them and claim the power He has given you to free them: "I, the LORD, have called You to righteousness, and will hold Your hand... to open blind eyes, to bring out prisoners from the prison, those who sit in darkness from the prison house" (Isaiah 42:6-7, NKJV).

Now you recognize them and want to let God help you set them free, but how? Start by getting on higher spiritual ground yourself...positioning yourself firmly in Christ so you can appropriate all the power, love and forgiveness necessary to break the bonds. Then, remember the two "keys" to the kingdom Jesus taught: binding and loosing. These are the keys which will open prison doors to set the prisoners free!

Our Evening Prayer - Let's Pray Together…
God loves you and wants to answer your prayer. Say this prayer with me:
Heavenly Father, thank you for equipping me to set those around me free. Grant me a greater working knowledge of the "keys" of binding and loosing and open my eyes to the opportunities for using the weapons of my warfare daily. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
