YOU CAN’T LOSE Do you feel like a loser tonight because someone rejected something you tried to give? Satan can use this devastated feeling to make you think you’ve wasted your time, but don’t let him. No matter what was rejected – you’ve gained!
Remember what Jesus told His disciples in order to prepare them to go door to door with the Good News? Knowing they’d soon experience rejection, He told them, “whatever house you enter, first say, ‘Peace to this house.’ And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on it; if not, it will return to you” (Luke 10:5-6, NKJV).
Jesus actually said that, if your peace is rejected by others, it will return to you! If so, then surely the same principle will apply to the other spiritual “riches” such as love and joy.
They return because of the spiritual law of giving and receiving. Many times you’ve heard, “Give and it shall be given unto you.” This law is universal. It means that whatever you give, you will receive back. If what you attempted to give is rejected, you yourself will still have grown. You’ve gained!
If someone accepts your gift, fine. If not, you still haven’t lost, you have gained! So go to bed joyful tonight, knowing that it’s impossible for you to lose in the Kingdom of God!
